Welcome to Maricopa High School, home of the RAMS! We have proudly educated the children in the community of Maricopa, Arizona for over 50 years. Located in a rapidly growing suburban area 16 miles south of Phoenix, our high school is proud to offer exemplary academic and athletic opportunities available in the educational arena. 

Please peruse our Web site for the plethora of possibilities our school has to offer, including a multitude of Advanced Placement® classes in the core areas of English, Math, Science, and Social Studies, as well as AP Studio Art. Additionally, Maricopa High School offers a wide range of Career and Technical Education classes, Digital Imaging, Culinary Arts, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Medical Assistant.

Some of our Fine Art classes include Dance, Jewelry, Drama, and Band. Other elective classes include, among many, Psychology and Journalism. Please note that we are the proud recipient of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism Grant – Stardust High School Journalism Program.

The 2009-2010 school year promises to bring Maricopa High School to the forefront of success stories. We have raised the bar and are dedicated to student achievement. In addition to all the other improvements and additions to this ever-growing school, plans for this year include introducing new opportunities to the Students who are Gifted and Talented.

Our goals don’t stop there. In fact, our most important goal is to increase scores, performance, activities, and all-around campus life…10% in 2010!
